AHA Initial Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Instructor-Led
Course Length: 3.0-4.0-Hours
This instructor-led AHA’s BLS Provider Course is designed for healthcare providers caring for patients both in a pre-hospital and in-facility environment. In-facility refers to healthcare providers who work in a hospital, quick care, clinic, doctor’s office, or other healthcare facilities including a dentist’s office, skilled nursing, and assisted-living facilities.
This BLS Provider Course teaches basic life support skills for application in both in-facility and pre-hospital settings, with a focus on high-quality CPR, improvement of chest compression fraction, and high-performing team dynamics. Participants are trained to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations, and provide early use of an AED.

- Use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) (Adult & Pediatrics)

- Special Consideration in BLS/CPR
- Skills Practice and Testing
- Written Exam
All courses are instructed by experienced and certified AHA Basic Life Support Instructors and/or AHA Basic Life Support Instructor-Trainers most with professional hospital and pre-hospital work experience.
