Gregory Koehler embarked on his path in the fire service industry in 1996, where he attended his initial fire academy in Michigan. Before securing his initial role as a POC firefighter for Northville Township, MI, Greg aspired to become a Hollywood stuntman. Following this pursuit, he commenced his employment at Northville Township and continued to work there until he was offered a position in Nevada In 2003, he relocated to Nevada and commenced his professional journey with the North Las Vegas Fire Department. Through his dedicated efforts, he was promoted to Firefighter/Paramedic, consistently expanding his knowledge and skill set to offer optimal care and education to his students and patients. Greg is a proud father to a twelve-year-old daughter and resides in the Las Vegas valley. His enthusiasm to impart knowledge and insight to the next generation of paramedics motivates him to pursue opportunities as a preceptor and instructor.

During his leisure time, Greg finds pleasure in outdoor activities, sports, woodworking, and traveling. Additionally, Greg is deeply committed to his role within the NLVFD, actively participating in the Peer Support Team and the Honor Guard, while also contributing to the design and implementation of new and improved rescue apparatus for the department.
